To all Buxton Hockey Club Members
 
Saturday March 28th at the Dome is a date for your diary please. Rotary, Lions and Derby Uni Event Management students are organising a charity auction for three local charities: Thomas Theyer, Connex Community Support and Buxton Mountain Rescue.
 
Why should I be there?  Promises include an annual sub for our hockey club 20/21, an annual sub for Buxton Cricket Club 20/21, a ticket to Manchester United to any future league, European or cup game and transport, experiencing the peak District from the seat of a McLaren, taking part in sliding sessions at Buxton Race Track, car transport to Manchester airport, and many more connected with days out and restaurant visits.  In fact over 80. Highlight for many will be our own super chef Gavin Higgins- Brown’s offer to prepare and cook a meal for up to 8 people. Oh and for you cake lovers; one Buxton cake maker par excellence will bake a lemon drizzle cake for each month of the year. All you have to do is put a bid in.
 
Any other details: be there for 6.45pm to register your name so you can bid. Bar and food available, no charge to come in and no buyers’ premium on your bid; card or cash payments accepted but not cheques.
